Matching baby sets and two-piece outfits

Pieces that are made to be worn together, and just as easily apart with the rest of the collection.

About our sets

One decision instead of three

A set removes the morning question of what goes with what. Each one is designed as a complete outfit — usually a top and leggings, sometimes with a knit, cardigan or hat — dyed in the same run so the tones actually match rather than nearly match. They are also built to break up: every piece uses the same colour family as the rest of the collection, so a set top works over our bodysuits and the leggings pair with anything else in the range. That is deliberate. A set that only works as a set is worn a handful of times; these are meant to stay in rotation long after the photos.

Fit, fabric and movement

Leggings and trousers sit on a soft covered waistband with no elastic edge against the tummy, and knees are cut with extra room and a little shape so they do not pull when a baby crawls. Tops use the same envelope neckline as our bodysuits or a shoulder popper opening, so nothing has to be forced over a head. Fabrics are GOTS-certified organic cotton — jersey, ribbed knit and a heavier loop-back for cooler weather — pre-washed before cutting and finished with flat seams. Sizes run newborn to 24 months and are cut generously, with fold-back cuffs at wrist and ankle so a set stretches across a growth spurt instead of being outgrown in a month.

Gifting and care

Sets are the easiest thing to give when you do not know what a family already owns, and they arrive plastic-free in a recycled card box with tissue and a hand-written note if you add one at checkout. If the size is wrong, unworn pieces can be returned within thirty days with a gift receipt or the original order number. Wash cool at 30°C, tumble low or line dry, and wash the pieces of a set together so the colours age at the same pace.
